Jerome, Pennsylvania is a small borough located in Somerset County in the southwestern portion of the state. It is situated in the Allegheny Mountains and has a population of approximately 780 people. The borough was founded in the late 1800s as a coal mining town and at its peak in the early 1900s, had a population of over 3,000. Today, Jerome is known for its historical significance and outdoor recreation opportunities, including nearby hiking trails, fishing, and hunting. The borough is also home to the Jerome Sportsman's Club, which hosts events and activities throughout the year.
